Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 16, 2026
TwinLoop is an arcade game from Standifer Labs. This policy explains what the TwinLoop app handles on your device, what optional Apple services may process, and what Standifer Labs receives if you contact support.
Summary
TwinLoop does not require an account. The app does not include advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, an advertising identifier, or an App Tracking Transparency permission request. Standifer Labs does not operate a gameplay backend for TwinLoop version 1.
Gameplay progress and statistics are stored locally on your device. They are not automatically sent to Standifer Labs.
Information stored on your device
TwinLoop stores information needed to provide the game, including:
- Tutorial completion and app settings
- Personal and Daily Loop best scores
- Recent run summaries and lifetime gameplay statistics
- Experience, player level, free-skip use, earned Flux, and remaining purchased Flux
- StoreKit consumable transaction identifiers already processed by the app, used to prevent duplicate Flux delivery
- Earned and equipped cosmetic identifiers
- Daily objective state and achievement progress
- Pending Game Center score submissions
- Daily reminder preference and time
- Dismissed in-app informational-card state
This information is stored in the app’s private container. It remains on your device unless you choose an Apple service or share/export action described below. Deleting the app generally deletes its local container according to iOS behavior. Settings > Reset Progress removes ordinary gameplay progress and preferences after confirmation but preserves remaining purchased Flux and the processed-transaction ledger. Eligible non-consumable purchases remain restorable through Apple; consumable Flux is not a restorable entitlement.
Manual sharing and playtest export
TwinLoop can create a score card without personal information for the iOS share sheet. Debug or TestFlight builds may also offer a manually initiated playtest report containing run counts, durations, scores, restart rate, failure stage, Perfect Shift frequency, and balance preset.
Nothing is uploaded automatically. You choose the destination in Apple’s share sheet and can cancel. Information you send to another person, service, or Standifer Labs is then handled by that recipient under its own terms and privacy practices.
The playtest report does not intentionally include your name, email address, advertising identifier, Game Center alias, precise location, contacts, photos, or a precise device fingerprint.
Apple Game Center
Game Center is optional. If you choose to use it, TwinLoop may submit scores and achievement progress to Apple and display Apple-provided authentication, leaderboard, rank, and achievement information. When offline or signed out, eligible scores may wait in the app’s local storage for a later submission.
Apple processes Game Center information under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. Standifer Labs does not require Game Center identity to play TwinLoop and does not use Game Center information for advertising or tracking.
App Store purchases
TwinLoop offers four optional non-consumable customization purchases and two optional fixed-quantity Flux consumables through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes payment credentials, transaction history, refunds, Family Sharing eligibility where applicable, and purchase verification. Standifer Labs does not receive your payment card information from the app.
TwinLoop reads verified StoreKit entitlement status to make non-consumable content available. The App Store’s verified transaction state, not a locally stored paid-ownership switch, is the source of truth. For a consumable, TwinLoop stores the verified transaction identifier after crediting the fixed Flux quantity so the same transaction is not credited twice. The identifier and remaining purchased-Flux balance stay on device and are not sent to Standifer Labs. Purchases and level skips do not affect competitive scoring or gameplay fairness.
Local notifications
Daily Loop reminders are optional and off by default. TwinLoop requests notification permission only after you enable the reminder in Settings. If allowed, iOS schedules one local notification at the time you choose. TwinLoop does not use a notification server, does not send multiple marketing reminders, and removes the scheduled reminder when you turn the setting off.
You can also change notification permission in iOS Settings.
Support communication
If you email support@standiferlabs.com, Standifer Labs receives your email address and whatever information you choose to include. This information is used to respond, diagnose the issue, maintain the security and reliability of the product, and meet legal obligations. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, precise location, or other sensitive information.
Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and applicable legal requirements, then deleted or de-identified. Standifer Labs does not sell support information or use it for cross-app advertising.
Information TwinLoop does not request
The version described by this policy does not request or collect through the app:
- Name or email for a TwinLoop account
- Precise location
- Contacts
- Photo library content
- Advertising identifier
- Browsing history
- Cross-app tracking data
- Voice or audio recordings
- User-created posts, chat messages, or public profiles
Fixed links to the TwinLoop privacy, support, and marketing pages open through Apple’s system web experience. TwinLoop does not provide unrestricted web browsing.
Data use, sale, and tracking
Standifer Labs does not sell TwinLoop gameplay information. TwinLoop does not use data for third-party advertising, targeted advertising, data-broker activity, or tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies.
On-device data is used to run the game, remember preferences, show progression and statistics, recover pending Apple-service submissions, and support user-requested sharing.
Security and retention
Local save files use the protections provided by iOS and the app sandbox. TwinLoop writes its save atomically and keeps a previous-valid local backup to reduce progress loss after an interrupted or corrupt write. No method of storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, so avoid placing sensitive information in manually shared reports or support messages.
Local gameplay history is retained until you reset progress or delete the app, subject to the app’s bounded run-history design. Apple determines retention for Game Center and App Store transaction information. Support retention is described above.
Your choices
You can:
- Play without Game Center authentication.
- Decline or disable Daily Loop notifications.
- Disable music, sound effects, and haptics.
- Cancel any score-card or playtest-report share action.
- Reset local progress in Settings.
- Delete TwinLoop to remove its local app container according to iOS behavior.
- Use Restore Purchases to recover eligible verified non-consumables. Consumed Flux packs are not restorable StoreKit entitlements.
- Contact Standifer Labs to ask about support correspondence you previously sent, subject to applicable law.
Game Center and App Store data controls are available through your Apple Account and Apple’s services.
Children and age suitability
TwinLoop is not directed to children as a Kids Category app and does not knowingly operate an account or backend that collects children’s personal information. Availability is governed by the App Store age rating and family controls in each region. Parents and guardians can use Apple device purchase and Game Center controls.
International use
TwinLoop is distributed through Apple storefronts. Apple may process optional Game Center, App Store, and related service information in locations described by Apple. If you contact Standifer Labs, your message may be processed where Standifer Labs operates and its email service is hosted, subject to applicable safeguards and law.
Changes to this policy
Standifer Labs may update this policy when TwinLoop’s features, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date at the top will identify the revision. A material change will be presented through an appropriate app or product-page notice when required.
